Membership Benefits Include:

Board meetings are conducted on a monthly basis with membership meetings held at least quarterly.  Members have the opportunity to participate on various Association committees, which assist with coordinating training programs, identifying problems & barriers within the system, sharing information, & receiving rules.  The Association has the following committees:  Finance, Legislative, Reimbursement, Waiver & Regulatory.

 

 

Membership Categories:

Regular Membership:
May be offered to any private entity that provides community living support opportunities consistent with the purpose & guiding principles of the Association. A regular member must be a provider, who is a sole proprietor, partnership, association, corporation or individual. If the regular member is not a sole proprietor or individual, its governing body shall designate one person to act on behalf of the regular member in the affairs of the Association pursuant to procedures adopted by the Board of Directors. A regular member or its designated representative is eligible to vote & hold office.

Associate and/or Affiliated Service Company Membership: May be granted by action of the Board of Directors to an individual who does not quality for Regular Membership according to the criteria set forth above, but who is or has been associated with & dedicated to the delivery of service to people with developmental disabilities. An associate member is not eligible to vote or hold office.
